What do I need to check before a release?

You prepare the materials a release needs: audio files, cover art, artist name, track titles and credits, and the release schedule. AUDENIQ is developing a system that checks audio quality and release metadata and tracks distribution status.

Basic artist profile linking, delivery of the lyrics you provide and release promotion tools are also in preparation. Required materials and the scope of support will be announced at launch.

How is the distribution network being built?

AUDENIQ is prioritizing direct contracts with major Korean music services. It then plans to broaden its reach through direct international contracts and Merlin membership and licensing.

Pursuing a contract is not the same as being able to distribute. Supported music platforms and countries will be announced on the official website once contracts are confirmed.

How do I move music I have already released?

AUDENIQ is preparing distributor transfer support that keeps existing ISRCs, UPCs and release information. The plan is to confirm release and matching status on the new distribution route before you end delivery through your previous distributor.

The actual transfer method depends on existing contracts, whether the metadata matches and each music platform’s policies. The approach is to check the new route first, before taking any existing release down.

Can I release music through AUDENIQ now?

Not yet. AUDENIQ is preparing for launch, and will announce when sign-up and distribution applications open on its official website and social channels.

Do my rights transfer to AUDENIQ when it distributes my music?

AUDENIQ’s standard distribution is being prepared on a non-exclusive basis. Rights to your recordings stay with the rights holders, and AUDENIQ receives only the permissions needed for distribution within the scope of the agreement.

Does music distribution include publishing?

No. Publishing is a separate service that you choose and contract for on its own. AUDENIQ will explain the scope of distribution and of royalty administration for compositions and lyrics separately.
